ISAT! ISAT! Yeeeaaaah! ISAT!

Yes, it is that time of year.  The ISAT’s are here.  This is a state standardized test that shows what our students know and if they are learning the things covered in our curriculum.  It is not something to fear, but it is something to take seriously.  We have been prepping for these tests all year, but as time gets closer we are spending a little more time reviewing and teaching test taking skills.  Below is a schedule of the testing dates and times for third grade.  Please try to have your child at school on these days.  We know that at times sickness cannot be avoided, but please try to schedule appointments and family trips at different times.  Also please try to offer your child a good night’s sleep and a healthy meal each night to help strengthen both his/her mind and body. We know students will try hard and we are excited to see how well they can do!

Positive Thinking Test Prep Songs

Written by Risa from my Pro Teacher Family

Time For Tests

(Tune: Twinkle, Twinkle, Twinkle)

Time for tests where I will show

Things I’ve learned and things I know.

I am ready! I feel strong!

When I’m careful, can’t go wrong.

I worked hard the whole year through.

I will show what I can do!
